23X Optical Zoom
Milesight AI Speed Dome Network Camera is designed to extend the user’s reach to the max with the fast 5∼117mm @F1.5∼F3.5 lens. The 23X optical zoom allows the user to zoom up to distant subjects while still maintaining clarity, delivering high-quality video over the entire zoom range.
PTZ Auto Tracking
The flagship functionality of this camera is the intelligent PTZ function. The camera can automatically detect motion and track without user intervention or, instead, it can be the user who quickly decides to pan/tilt/zoom to a specific area in a clear and timely manner.
While most cameras typically achieve pan speeds of 60°/s, this camera can pan at 250°/s and tilt at 160°/s, providing fast and accurate movement, infinite 360° pan, and 95° tilt. The user can easily control the target position by using the mouse to monitor the area of interest or set one of 300 preset patrol positions available. In addition, the user can schedule specific PTZ tasks by date and time.

Drastic reduction of false alarms thanks to artificial intelligence
Conventional PTZ cameras have a wide detection range but have to be manually controlled to adjust the camera to track moving objects, which is inconvenient and less reliable. In addition, if several cameras are installed, it is not possible to control them all simultaneously when some specific accidents occur. Whereas, Milesight PTZ cameras with the auto-tracking function enabled in combination with the object filtering artificial intelligence functions distinguish people and vehicles from other moving objects that could trigger false alarms, such as light beams, animals, or leaves, which minimizes false alarms and manipulation of camera behavior by thieves. These cameras are incredible tools to protect you and public property with great accuracy and efficiency. The reliability of video surveillance can be well-guaranteed. When motion is detected in a target area, the camera will pan and tilt to focus automatically. It will then zoom in to provide a clear image for some time. This time is configurable and when the duration expires or the subject leaves the field of view, the camera will resume its previous surveillance position and zoom level.
The auto-tracking technology is composed of detection and tracking. Regarding detection technology, it first compares the current image with the previous image to differentiate the background and moving objects, and then decides on a target to track.
And as for the tracking process, it utilizes a model which includes the characteristics of moving objects and their surrounding background. Then it extracts the unique characteristics of moving objects, searches candidate areas with the highest similarity, and use Pan/Tilt/Zoom function to track the objects.

The Milesight AI Speed Dome Network Camera can deliver highly detailed color images even in low light environments reaching 0.002Lux (Color) or 0Lux (B/W), and near-infrared light environments without any supplementary lighting.

Smart IR II Technology
The IR LEDs technology has been upgraded to provide videos with a viewing range of up to 200m. Four LEDs work as High Beam, two LEDs work as Mid Beam, while the other three as Low Beam for better image clarity and quality regardless of the object distance. Also, the Low Beam, Mid Beam, and High Beam brightness can be adjusted manually or automatically based on the zoom ratio.
Perfect adaptation to different distances without disturbing reflections
With the combined High Beam and Low Beam, the new Smart IR II technology ensures that the IR LEDs reach the farthest distance. The 2MP 23X AI speed dome network camera extends the IR distance from 60m to 200m. The IR strength is adjusted to suit different lighting conditions at various specific angles, which will ensure image quality to avoid problems of overexposure and darkness.

The 23X AI Speed Dome Camera creatively realizes the comprehensive defog performance in the hardware of a smart fan, a built-in heater, and software of image defogging algorithm, enabling the camera to avoid image fogging problems.

Video content analysis (VCA) refers to the ability to automatically analyze video to detect and alert on temporal and spatial events. It automatically performs live video analysis and uses the data obtained to trigger alarms. This technical capability is very useful in a wide range of fields, such as entertainment, healthcare, retail, automotive, transportation, home automation, security, and safety. This camera uses the latest AI video analytics technology to provide:

People counting
Highly accurate, real-time people counting based on an AI algorithm helps to make quick business decisions and increase operational efficiency. It counts how many people enter or exit during the set period by recording the number of people passing in each direction along a virtual line. People crossing in the direction of an arrow will be recorded as IN. Conversely, they will be recorded as OUT.
Statistics Report
After a certain time of counting, you can start using the Statistics Report function. With this function, you can search by Statistics Types or Report Types. The search result supports Line charts and histograms, which could help users to study flow trends. There are two installation suggestions as follows:
- Pedestal Mounting: Top-mounted cameras can better separate people passing side-by-side.
- Wall Mounting: Wall-mounted cameras can better identify people.

IP66 & IK10 (Optional)
The solid basis for ensuring the stable and reliable operation of the network camera in outdoor applications depends on the weatherproof capability and in some use cases also on vandal resistance. Applied in the AI LPR Speed Dome Network Camera, IP66-rated weatherproofing and IK10-rated vandal resistance, which is the industry-leading level, protect the cameras against adverse circumstances to ensure performance. It has the highest possible protection against dust ingress and very high protection against water ingress so it is only vulnerable to total immersion. IK protection is a scale that measures the degree of impact resistance that the camera's outer casing can withstand. The IK10 rating is the maximum rating against vandalism and makes the camera highly resistant to impact, e.g. blows from a hammer or baseball bat.
