PTZ Auto Tracking

The flagship functionality of this camera is the intelligent PTZ function. The camera can automatically detect motion and track without user intervention or, instead, it can be the user who easily decides to pan/tilt/zoom to a specific area in a clear and timely manner.

While most cameras typically achieve pan speeds of 60°/s, this camera can pan at 250°/s and tilt at 160°/s, providing fast and accurate movement, infinite 360° pan and 95° tilt. The user can easily control the target position by using the mouse to monitor the area of interest or set one of 300 preset patrol positions available. In addition, the user can schedule specific PTZ tasks by date and time.

Drastic reduction of false alarms thanks to artificial intelligence

Conventional PTZ cameras have a wide detection range but have to be manually controlled to adjust the camera to track moving objects, which is inconvenient and less reliable. In addition, if several cameras are installed, it is not possible to control them all simultaneously when some specific accidents occur. Whereas, Milesight PTZ cameras with the auto-tracking function enabled in combination with the object filtering artificial intelligence functions distinguish people and vehicles from other moving objects that could trigger false alarms, such as light beams, animals or leaves, which minimizes false alarms and manipulation of camera behavior by thieves. These cameras are incredible tools to protect you and public property with great accuracy and efficiency. The reliability of video surveillance can be well-guaranteed. When motion is detected in a target area, the camera will pan and tilt to focus automatically. It will then zoom in to provide a clear image for a period of time. This time is configurable and when the duration expires or the subject leaves the field of view, the camera will resume its previous surveillance position and zoom level.

The auto tracking technology is composed of detection and tracking. Regarding to detection technology, it first compares the current image with the previous image to differentiate the background and moving objects, and then decides a target to track.

And as for tracking process, it utilizes a model which includes the characteristics of moving objects and their surrounding background. Then it extracts the unique characteristics of moving objects, searches candidate areas with the highest similarity, and use Pan/Tilt/Zoom function to track the objects.

Equipped with the industry-leading 1/1.2" big sensor, Milesight 36X Speed Dome Network Camera, the memeber of Starlight Premium Series, improves every aspect of image quality, including better low-light sensitivity. The Milesight AI Speed Dome Network Camera is able to deliver high detailed color images even in the low light environments reaching 0.001Lux (Color) or 0Lux (B/W), and near infrared light environments without any supplementary lighting.

Milesight’s Starlight Premium Technology is a combination of high-quality optical components and advanced image processing algorithms. With the Starlight Premium Technology, Milesight cameras are able to capture full-color images in extremely low-light conditions reaching 0.001Lux without extra light supplement.

Smart IR II Technology

The IR LED technology has been enhanced to provide video with an impressive viewing range of up to 300m. Four LEDs operate as High Light, two LEDs operate as Medium Light, while the other three LEDs operate as Low Light for improved clarity and image quality regardless of the distance to the subject. In addition, the brightness of the low, mid and high beams can be adjusted manually or automatically depending on the zoom ratio.

3 en 1 Super WDR Pro

WDR is a technology that extends the camera's range to cover a greater span between the bright and the dark areas in the image. A scene that holds great variances in contrast requires separate exposures to offer full detail in both dark and light areas of the scene. As the exposure time increases, more of the details in darker areas will be visible. Milesight Super WDR Pro offers three different exposure time including long, middle and short ones, which greatly enlarge the range of wide dynamic to provide a clear image.

Milesight Super WDR Pro outputs the data for up to three frames with different storage times line by line and combines them into one clear image. By performing special signal processing with an ISP (Image Signal Processor) or other devices at the image sensor rear-end, this enables improvement of picture quality under low illumination compared to the multiple exposure-type WDR function. Meanwhile, Milesight Super WDR Pro provides three levels to meet different needs, including Low, High and Auto.

Artificial Intelligence

Video content analysis (VCA) refers to the ability to automatically analyse video to detect and alert on temporal and spatial events. It automatically performs live video analysis and uses the data obtained to trigger alarms. This technical capability is very useful in a wide range of fields, such as entertainment, healthcare, retail, automotive, transportation, home automation, security and safety.
