Milesight UC100-868M LoRaWan IoT Controller
UC100 is an IoT controller for remote control and data acquisition from Modbus RS485 devices via LoRaWAN® networks.
It can read up to 16 Modbus RTU devices and support Modbus transparent transmission between server and RS485 devices as a Modbus to LoRaWAN® converter.
Besides, UC100 supports multiple trigger conditions and actions which can work autonomously even when the network drops.
UC100 is widely used in indoor applications like smart metering, smart cities, building automation, etc.

Even if you use devices with older technologies, setting up a wireless communication network is easy. You will be able to gather information and control all kinds of devices because it works in both directions, allowing you to send messages over LoRaWAN to the devices and from the devices.
RS485 Interface
Provides RS-485 interface for connection to a variety of sensors or field devices, a 3.5 mm terminal block, and reads up to 16 sets of data. 3.5 mm terminal block and reads up to 16 records.
Compatible with LoRaWAN® gateways
Features internal LoRa antenna for data transmission and watchdog for error recovery. This ultra-low power data transmission technology allows you to communicate over long distances. It is available on demand on any of the frequencies.
Intelligent Trigger System
To realize intelligent tasks, users can set up 16 commands based on user-defined trigger conditions (If-Then statements) & actions.
Autonomous Operationa
Allows if/then logic through a command line. This allows you to program autonomous behavior into your devices. UC100 can execute commands even when network is unavailable.
Tiny but with huge capabilities
It is a very small device with great capabilities. It has an LED status indicator and RS485 ports for connection to Modbus devices to receive data and send instructions. It can be powered by direct current, or by USB type c, which can also be used for configuration tasks.
Device 2 Device communication protocol
Communicate between Milesight LoRaWAN devices without uploading information to the cloud. With the UC100, you can interoperate between LoRa and Modbus sensors. For example, a shutter that opens when low light is detected, or a window that opens when CO2 levels are dangerous. Two roles are defined for the UC100 controller: agent (receives the message from a controller and sends it to the device via RS485) or controller (sends commands that control other D2D devices).
Wired and wireless configuration
The configuration can be done via a USB cable, or a downlink can be sent to the device via LoRaWAN from the cloud, for cases where you are not physically close to the device.
