The Milesight EM320-TH humidity and temperature sensor uses LoRaWAN® wireless communication and offers incredible value for its price. It is low power consumption, and maintenance-free and its design is focused on further increasing its resistance to water and humidity. Its housing is IP67, which is the highest degree of protection, and its interior has a multi-layer design, a rubber barrier ring, and an anti-humidity inner lining.

The EM320-TH is perfect for cold chain logistics. Its wide measuring range and high resolution provide accurate measurements of moisture and temperature. In addition, the EM320-TH can operate at low temperatures while maintaining high accuracy.

With two optional versions, standard and magnetic, the EM320-TH sensor will open up more possibilities and give you the easiest gripping and moving experience you can imagine.

SHT 41 Sensor

The EM320-TH Temperature and Humidity sensor integrates technology designed to offer:

High measurement accuracy of ±0.2℃ in temperature, and ±2% RH in humidity.

Its measurement range goes from -30°C to 60°C and from 0% to 100% relative humidity (RH).

The resolution is 0.1°C and 0.5% RH.

Data storage and retransmission

EM320-TH has been upgraded with data storage and retransmission. EM320-TH can store up to 3000 sets of historical data records with time stamps. When the connection fails, the EM320-TH continues to collect and store data from the environment. Once reconnected, the data collected during that period will be retransmitted to the gateway, thus preventing data loss. This feature is appropriate for applications that emphasize information and data integrity.

Network Topology

To start logging your sensor data you must have LoRaWAN coverage. This is achieved with a gateway. In many cities there is already extensive LoRaWAN coverage (see The Things Network) and you only need to register your device with your preferred service. You can create a private or public server, with or without data persistence, the infrastructure options are endless. Here we propose the simplest one, with a Milesight IoT Cloud gateway and application, which will allow you to create doshboards, configure alarms without previous experience. But we also design customized solutions with FIWARE and AWS.

Mounting modes depending on the surface

The installation in its magnetic version sticks only by placing it on metallic surfaces, but if you need to install it on a wall there is no problem either, because in its screwed version the installation will be easy and strong. This is the choice of our customers. The difference between the two versions, apart from the mounting method, is the housing material, although both materials are FDA approved for use in food applications. In the EM320-TH, any material that could pose a potential health concern has been eliminated, providing proven safety when in contact with food. The screw wall mounting version is equipped with an anti-theft design, while the magnetic version makes it much easier to move.
