AI IR Mini Dome Series
The MS-C8183-PC is a compact, dome-shaped 8 MP camera with advanced artificial intelligence features and high infrared (IR) capability. All cameras in this series share 20 m IR illumination distance, built-in microphone, 3-axis design for unrestricted movement and H.265+ compression, and this particular model includes 120dB Super WDR, Smart IRII technology and people counting, face detection and heat mapping functions driven by advanced artificial intelligence algorithms.
It delivers sharp and clear images in all lighting conditions with a maximum resolution of 3840*2160 (4K) at 30 frames per second.
Its compact size combined with super-high resolution images makes it well suited for indoor surveillance.

People Counting
This model is capable of counting the number of people entering and exiting 1 to 4 regions in real time. The counting is based on artificial intelligence algorithms trained to perceive the flow of people. It generates statistical reports for later analysis to help make informed decisions.
Face Detection:
The face detection feature detects human faces in the surveillance scene and captures snapshots. This greatly enhances surveillance efficiency and benefits urban management sectors such as public safety and access control.
AI-powered video analytics:
The camera features advanced video analysis that intelligently filters objects and focuses on detecting people and vehicles in multiple events, such as area entry, area exit, loitering, advanced motion detection, and others. This feature improves the accuracy and effectiveness of surveillance by providing relevant information and timely alerts to ensure effective and proactive surveillance in various situations and environments.
Smart IR II Technology
The infrared illumination distance reaches up to 20 meters thanks to improved IR LEDs with adjustable brightness. In addition, the IR anti-reflection panel significantly increases infrared light transmission.
Improved thermal design:
The base of the new AI IR mini-dome network camera has been improved to better dissipate the heat generated by bulging strips that increase the heat dissipation area.
3-axis mechanical design
The 3-axis mechanical design offers 180° pan, 15-90° tilt and 360° roll capabilities, allowing for quick and easy adjustment of the camera's viewing angle.
New microphone:
Equipped with a new codec, the voice picked up by the microphone is clearer, a significant improvement over the previous model.
120dB Super WDR:
Milesight's sensor-based Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology allows the camera to capture more scene detail with accurate color reproduction, even in extreme backlight and high contrast conditions. The ratio between the brightest and darkest light signal values reaches up to 140dB. This advanced WDR feature ensures that captured images are clear and accurate regardless of changing lighting conditions, making the camera ideal for a wide range of applications and environments.
Easy Installation & Adjustment:
Milesight has specially designed a push button, a unique panel on the side of the cover and a built-in PoE port to make the installation process extremely easy.
H.265+ Compression
The camera can use the latest H.265+ compression, which offers significantly improved compression efficiency compared to its predecessor, H.264. H.265+ technology reduces bit rate and video file size, resulting in significant bandwidth and storage savings without compromising image quality.
