42X Optical Zoom

The 2MP 42X AI Speed Dome Network Camera is designed to extend the user's reach to the extreme with the fast 7∼300mm @F1.8∼F6.5 lens and impressive 42X optical zoom that allows the user to zoom in on very distant subjects while maintaining sharpness, delivering high quality video throughout the zoom range.

PTZ Auto Tracking

The flagship functionality of the 2MP 42X AI speed dome network camera is the intelligent PTZ function. It can be set to automatically detect motion and track targets without user intervention or allows the user to easily decide to monitor a target in a specific area in a clear and timely manner. With the PTZ auto-tracking function enabled, the camera leverages the motor mechanism to perform an ultra-fast pan/tilt/zoom movement to automatically track the moving object, providing intelligent, reliable, real-time video surveillance without missing any critical details. It will then zoom in to provide a clear image for a configurable period of time. When the duration expires or the subject leaves the field of view, the camera will resume its previous surveillance position and zoom level.

The auto tracking technology is composed of detection and tracking. Regarding to detection technology, it first compares the current image with the previous image to differentiate the background and moving objects, and then decides a target to track.

And as for tracking process, it utilizes a model which includes the characteristics of moving objects and their surrounding background. Then it extracts the unique characteristics of moving objects, searches candidate areas with the highest similarity, and use Pan/Tilt/Zoom function to track the objects.

Smart IR II Technology

The IR LED technology has been enhanced to provide video with an impressive IR viewing range of up to 300m. Four LEDs operate as High Light, two LEDs operate as Medium Light, while the other three LEDs operate as Low Light for improved clarity and image quality regardless of the distance to the subject. In addition, the brightness of the low, mid and high beams can be adjusted manually or automatically depending on the zoom ratio.

With the combined High Beam and Low Beam, the new Smart IR II technology ensures that the IR LEDs reach the farthest distance. The 2MP 42X AI speed dome network camera extends the IR distance to 300m. The IR strength is adjusted to suit different lighting conditions at various specific angles, which will ensure image quality to avoid problems of overexposure and darkness.

Comprehensive Defogging

The AI Speed Dome Camera creatively realizes the comprehensive defog performance in hardware of a smart fan, a built-in heater and software of image defogging algorithm, enabling the camera to avoid image fogging problems.

Artificial Intelligence

Video Content Analysis(VCA), also referred to Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA), is the capability of automatically analyzing video to detect and determine temporal and spatial events. The algorithms can be implemented as software on general purpose machines or as hardware in specialized video processing units. It automatically performs an analysis of captured video, and automatically uses the resultant data. This technical capability is used in a wide range of fields including entertainment, health-care, retail, automotive, transport, home automation, safety and security. This camera uses the lastest AI Video analytics technology to provide:

Region-based entry/exit:
detects objects, people and vehicles entering or leaving a predefined zone and gives notifications when required.
Advanced motion detection:
detects movement and triggers an alarm, while filtering out false alarms such as lighting variations and movement caused by external events such as wind.
Tamper detection:
sends an immediate notification if the camera has been unplugged or the objective has been covered to block its view.
Line crossing
Detects people and vehicles crossing a predefined virtual line, providing AI-enabled perimeter protection for high-risk areas to receive instant notifications.
Loitering
Can provide notification for sensitive areas where objects are in a defined area for a period of time
People detection
Can detect human movement in a monitored area, this feature can also display the footprints of a moving person on the cameras image
People counting
Highly accurate, real-time people counting that provides statistical reports for further analysis to help manage pedestrian traffic or used for marketing in commercial settings
Abandoned/removed objects
Provides notifications of objects abandoned or removed from a predefined area for a set period of time for high-risk areas to ensure public safety

People & vehicle counting

High accuracy and real-time people counting based on AI algorithm, with statistic reports for further analysis, helps to make fast decisions on security management and increase the operational efficiency of the business. People Counting is able to count how many people enter or exit during the setting period, which can therefore serve multiple purposes such as helping retailers to count how many customers came in a day. It records the number of people passing through a line automatically. People who cross along the direction of an arrow will be recorded as IN. On the contrary, they will be recorded as OUT.

Statistics Report

After a certain time of counting, you can start using the Statistics Report function. With this function, you can search by Statistics Types or Report Type. The search result supports Line Chart and Histogram, which could help users to study flow trend. There are two installation suggestions as follows:

  • Top Mounting: Top-mounted cameras can better separate people passing side-by-side.
  • Wall Mounting: Wall-mounted cameras can better identify people.

3D Digital Noise Reduction

Shooting the low-light image causes more digital noises, thus 3D Digital Noise Reduction technology is embedded in the starlight cameras to process the image. By comparing with some previous frames, the digital noises will be filtered and colors will be recovered. The image produced will be clarified with authentic features.
