You can order with 4mm/6mm lenses instead of the 2.8mm lens without any additional cost, always on request to the manufacturer (delivery time of 3-6 weeks).
Larger focal distances cover larger areas and will have a smaller field of view (see image). Therefore, if your area to monitor is small, you need a wide angle and a low focal distance. Conversely, if the area you are going to monitor is extensive, with a small angle and a large focal distance, you will get better results.
