PTZ Auto Tracking

The camera can automatically detect motion and track without user intervention or, instead, it can be the user who easily decides to pan/tilt/zoom to a specific area in a clear and timely manner. Once the PTZ Auto Tracking function is enabled, PTZ cameras could leverage the motor mechanism to perform Pan/Tilt/Zoom to track the moving object automatically and adjust zoom status flexibly according to the object distance with the powerful optical zoom capability. Therefore, the target would be shown in the frame center and be zoomed to a proper size, achieving smart, reliable, and real-time video surveillance without any critical details missing.

AI LPR PTZ Bullet Plus rotates quickly and accurately in a 360° pan and 75° tilt to monitor a wide territory, this camera adjusts to patrol large areas and features 300 pre-configured positions, up to 8 patrol patterns plus 4 customized patrol patterns. In addition, the user can schedule specific PTZ tasks by date and time. A new generation motor with sophisticated planetary gear drive design is adopted to ensure a steady turn, which guarantees its robust performance, providing a reliable pan tilt operation.

Drastic reduction of false alarms thanks to artificial intelligence

Conventional PTZ cameras have a wide detection range but have to be manually controlled to adjust the camera to track moving objects, which is inconvenient and less reliable. In addition, if several cameras are installed, it is not possible to control them all simultaneously when some specific accidents occur. Milesight PTZ cameras with the auto-tracking function enabled in combination with the object filtering artificial intelligence functions distinguish people and vehicles from other moving objects that could trigger false alarms, such as light beams, animals, or leaves, which minimizes false alarms and manipulation of camera behavior by thieves. When motion is detected in a target area, the camera will pan and tilt to focus automatically. It will then zoom in to provide a clear image for a period of time. This time is configurable and when the duration expires or the subject leaves the field of view, the camera will resume its previous surveillance position and zoom level. The auto-tracking technology is composed of detection and tracking. Regarding to detection technology, it first compares the current image with the previous image to differentiate the background and moving objects, and then decides a target to track.

And as for the tracking process, it utilizes a model which includes the characteristics of moving objects and their surrounding background. Then it extracts the unique characteristics of moving objects, searches candidate areas with the highest similarity, and use Pan/Tilt/Zoom function to track the objects.

3-in-1 Super WDR Pro

WDR is a technology that extends the camera's range to cover a greater span between the bright and the dark areas in the image. A scene with great variances in contrast requires separate exposures to offer full detail in both dark and light areas of the scene. As the exposure time increases, more of the details in darker areas will be visible. Milesight Super WDR Pro offers three different exposure times including long, middle, and short ones, which greatly enlarge the range of wide dynamics to provide a clear image.

Milesight Super WDR Pro outputs the data for up to three frames with different exposure times line by line and combines them into one clear image. Performing special signal processing with an ISP (Image Signal Processor) or other devices at the image sensor rear-end, enables improvement of picture quality under low illumination compared to the multiple exposure-type WDR function. Meanwhile, Milesight Super WDR Pro provides three levels to meet different needs, including Low, High, and Auto.

Smart IR II Technology

The IR LED technology has been enhanced to provide video with an impressive IR viewing range of up to 180m. Two LEDs operate as High Light, while the other two operate as Low Light for improved clarity and image quality regardless of the distance to the subject. In addition, the brightness of the low and high beams can be adjusted manually or automatically depending on the zoom ratio.
